A meeting of the Board of Directors of the Santa Cruz County Darts Association (SCCDA) was held on the date and at the time set forth above.

  1. OFFICER REPORTS

    Keith

    Keith mentioned that Callahan's pub is considering entering teams in the darts league next season. There venue is under new ownership and the setup looks good. Callahan's may enter a team in the A and B league.

  2. UNFINISHED BUSINESS

    Inter League Play

    The board continued discussing inter league play. There was some in playing a team version of English Cricket and adding more team games in general.In addition, how teams would be credited with attendance.

    The board discussed and agreed in principle, the following points as a framework to go forward with inter league play:

    • Players would get honorable mentions on the stats pages and qualify for medals as in normal league play
    • 4 players would be required for a team
    • Teams would receive a 5 game win incentive for attendance and participation
    • Suggested game format; 1001, Team Cricket, 2x501 doubles, 2xCricket doubles, team English Cricket
    • Handicaps could be used to ensure that the line ups are fair. This would be based on current standing is respective league.

    One point in consider with inter-league play was raised during the meeting. As there are 6 A league teams and 10 B league teams, this will create a challenge for scheduling. The board agreed that further discussion is required.

    Locations for All Stars and Singles matches were discussed and are as follows:

    • A League All Stars - Poet & Patriot
    • B League All Stars - 1007
    • A League Singles - 1007
    • B League Singles - Poet & Patriot

    The meeting was adjourned at 8:20 p.m.
