BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE SANTA CRUZ COUNTY DARTS ASSOCIATION (SCCDA)

An Emergency Meeting of the Board of Directors of the Santa Cruz County Darts Association
(SCCDA) was held on the date and at the time set forth above.

Concerns and topics discussed by Board Members during this meeting:
Abel presents his investigation of the events occuring on the night of Wednesday, January 11, 2006.
Abel presents a formal complaint filed by Nichole Smith in regards to Anthony Vasquez and Angel (Debbie) Hopps.
Abel presents information on legal repercussions that could result in the actions Anthony took on January 11th.
Board discusses these articles and personal investigations done.
A discussion is held as to what power the Board of Directors really has to accomplish a decision in such an incident.
It is decided that Part I, Article VI.-Personal Conduct, Paragraph A, line 3 could be loosely applied to consider any penalties or ability to take action.
It is also decided that Part I, Article IV. -Suspension or Termination of Membership, Paragraph A. could be used as a more definitive rule in allowing the Board to take action.
The following rules respectively represent these two articles:
3. Since all members represent the SCCDA, any member found liable or responsible for any violations of law, acts of vandalism, or civil misconduct in or about a sponsoring darts establishment or tournament site shall be held personally liable for his/her actions and be suspended by the Commissioner, subject to the review of the SCCDA Board of Directors.
A. Membership may be suspended or terminated by a two-thirds majority vote of the Board of Directors for just cause. If the membership is that of an officer of the Association, that person must be removed from office before he or she can be deprived of membership.
Charlie motions for permanent termination of Anthony's membership in the S.C.C.D.A.
Abel seconds the motion.
Julie, Danyel, Keith, Charlie & Abel vote in favor.
Motion passes.
Abel motions for suspension of Pete's membership until All-Stars with a review by the commissioner at said time.
Keith seconds the motion.
Julie, Danyel, Charlie, Keith & Abel vote in favor.
Motion passes.
Abel motions for suspension of Terry's membership for 1 season with a review by the commissioner at said time.
Keith seconds the motion.
Julie, Danyel, Charlie, Keith & Abel vote in favor.
Abel motions to refund Anthony's and Terry's membership fees paid to League ($70 total) pending an 'All Captain’s' decision to try and avoid further repercussions from Anthony.
Keith seconds.
Julie, Charlie, Danyel, Abel & Keith vote in favor.
Motion passes.
Abel states he feels the Captains need to be involved in such an important matter and should be given every chance to hear the facts and investigate the incident themselves so that they may come to an informed and fair decision.
Abel motions for the 'All Captains' meeting deadline be suspended for this incident so that, if necessary, it can be scheduled by the end of the season to ensure 2/3 of 'All Captains' will be able to attend.
Charlie seconds the motion.
Keith, Danyel, Julie, Charlie & Abel vote in favor.
Motion passes.
Abel will contact the 'All Captains' about the Board's decision and the pending 'All Captains' meeting.
Abel will write a letter to sponsoring pubs in regards to board's decision. He will present it to the Board for approval and Keith will sign and deliver them.
Anthony is not to be allowed at League sanctioned events.
Meeting adjourned at 8:15 p.m.
