A meeting of the Board of Directors of the Santa Cruz County Darts Association (SCCDA) was held on the date and at the time set forth above.

The following Officers were absent:

Concerns and topics discussed by Board Members during this meeting:

1. Fundraisers / Promotion
2. A-League Rep
3. Banquet
4. Trophies
5. Next Season

OLD BUSINESS:

1. Fundraisers / Promotion
The benefit only drew 9 people, and brought in $60. General consensus was that we should not hold it on a weekend.
The Turkey shoot drew 28 people, Gailen Webb (owner of the Windjammer) donated two hotel stays for us to raffle off which brought in $202. Hayden and Chris won the raffle, Dean and Andy walked away with the Turkeys. The turkeys set us back $40.
The idea was raised to have a benefit at the end of every season, get posters made by beer companies and advertise more around town, try to get new blood (new league members) and raise more interest. Our Flyers need to be bigger and bolder; also we should look into listings in the Metro and the Goodtimes.
2. A-League Rep
The Commissioner appointed Rob Christensen as the new A League Rep (interim); he will finish the term, which goes through this next season.

3. Banquet
Mark sent us a letter detailing the expense of the banquet with cost coming in at $900. The only issue is there is only an allowance of one drink token per person. Abel will talk to him and see if we can raise that up to two tokens, possibly by going up to $1000. All tasks and assignment were made to insure a good banquet.

4. Trophies
We’re missing the All Star B-League trophy and the Presidents cup, other than that all trophies are accounted for and turned in to Brinks.

5. Next Season
The Captains meeting is set for the 4th at the Poet & Patriot at 7:00, the season will start the following week on the 11th, 12th respectively.
Meeting adjourned at 8:15 p.m.

NEXT MEETING: Poet & Patriot on Monday, January 10, 2005 @ 7:00 p.m. All League members are welcome.
