5. Smiley
6. Season Championship Tournaments
7. New Formal Complaint
1. Treasury Report
Nici presented an itemized break down of money in and money out so far this season. We brought in a total of $3,235 and have so far spent $642.24, our current net worth is $3168.34. We can expect to spend around $3000 on banquet and trophies.
OLD BUSINESS:
2. Fundraising
Unfortunately Bottleson Darts has rejected our appeal for donations, the 3rd place prize will probably be Dart League T-Shirts and we’ll give out the drink tokens for a 4th place prize, or we’ll just give the drink tokens out as 3rd place prize. The entry fee will be a donation of $5 and up, $5 minimum more if people are willing.
Turkey shoot is go for Windjammers, Gailen has offered to do food or ½ price pitchers. The board decided that pitchers only are probably the best way to go.
3. Banquet
The 1oo7 is all set to put on the banquet, Mark says they are fully capable of putting out food and will give us a written estimate / menu by Nov 1st. Roger will ask Jon if we can borrow his free standing board to put in the other room and use for hi fives.
4. Trophies
No progress has been made on trophies
5. Smiley
We’re still waiting for Smiley to return from Fair so we can hear from him on the complaint.
6. Season Championship Tournaments
Anthony volunteered to run B-League (at 1oo7), Keith volunteered to run A-League (at Poet), and the board is at the Poet and will have to be moved to the 1oo7 and back. Over the last few season the League has lost all but one of it’s tournament scoreboards, we should consider getting another one made but that decision should be left until the beginning of next season after we’ve covered the cost of the end of this season.
NEW BUSINESS:
7. New Formal Complaint
Abel Romero wrote a formal complaint against Angel Hopps, Angel wrote a letter to the board explaining her side. After much debate the formal complaint was recognized. No further action will be taken.
Meeting adjourned at ? p.m.
NEXT MEETING: Poet & Patriot on Tuesday, November 9, 2004 @ 7:00 p.m. All League members are welcome.
