Nici asked if a transfer fee is the same $5 fee if the player being replaced was exempt from paying dues, the consensus was yes, the $5 fee still applies and is not increased.

   Roger has secured promises of dinners for two from Bocci’s and Brittania Arms, 1oo7 will donate a t-shirt or sweatshirt and the Poet will donate a t-shirt, also drink tokens (?) will donated by The Windjammer and possibly Castaways. We will hold a blind draw doubles tournament at the Poet on November 13th, there will be an entrance fee to raise money for the league (not as yet set), Roger is also securing the donation of several sets of Darts from a local dart company that will be raffled off at the tournament. Sean has volunteered to print flyers for this and other events on neon paper.
   The annual turkey shoot is scheduled for Tuesday Nov 23rd at the Windjammer.

   The 1oo7 is the next venue in line for the Banquet, as far as anyone knows they no longer have a caterer on staff so it is possible that we will have to arrange that separately. Nichole is calling Mark to check on the date, find out if we’re responsible for food, get a quote. Roger is checking pricing on several different catering options including Bar-b-q places and Taqueria Santa Cruz across the street. The Banquet is scheduled for December 11th in the afternoon.

   Due to Brinks continual shoody business practice the board is looking into alternative trophy options including the Pitcher and Glasses options. If those options are comparable in price to Brinks trophies then we will go that route. We need to price the inscribing of the perpetual trophies at other businesses as well as see if we can order medals at comparable costs.

   The board is still waiting to hear from Smiley before taking any action.
