   Don Wilson presented his final edit of the Rules and By-laws to the board, as well as a letter to the board in which he stated that he consider his task accomplished and the rest is up to us. He noted that his version included Part 1, Article 2, Paragraph H (the Brian Riddly rule) which had not yet been approved as the board wanted to send it before the captains for approval. Also the proposed charts are still a work in progress and are not included in the packet. It was decided that instead of a formal All Captains meeting, the board should poll the all the captains of the league to determine where they stand on the issue and only have a meeting if the captains are divided on the issue.
   Nichole motions the board take home the packets and review them and hold the formal vote to adopt at the next meeting, Keith seconded, 5 ayes, motion passes.

   The board received a formal letter of intention from Charlie O’s, stating their ability to host the banquet, the amenities offered, and the cost thereof. Things of note were the fact that we must provide our own Public Announcement device should we choose to use one, and that the initial cost only provides for 60 people, should we exceed that amount the price will be $20 for each extra person. The board considered it unlikely that we will exceed 60 league members but guests may put us over the limit. It was decided to re-instate a charge for guests at $10 a head so that should we go over our limit we will only be taking half the hit. This $10 gets a guest food and two drink tokens, also there will be no charge for children and Charlie O’s will provide soda at no
charge. Nichole is to e-mail out the exact amount we spent on the last banquet.    Abel motioned the board have the banquet at Charlie O’s, Cliff seconds, 5 ayes, motion passes.It’s official: the banquet is at Charlie O’s.

   Abel asked the board to decide if we want to give medals for Ro9’s and 8T0’s thrown during B-League playoff’s. The Board said yes.
Abel brought up the possibility of awarding etched pitchers and glass to A-League, the Stingers especially have expressed interest in receiving these. Brinks has not responded to his request for an itemized price list. Cliff will go to Brinks tomorrow to get a price list. As best we can tell, giving the Stingers pitchers would run an extra $200 - $300, depending on brinks prices.
   Abel motioned we give pitchers to the stingers with him paying the price difference out of his pocket, Keith seconded

   Motion fails. Trophies will be from Brinks as usual.

   The board also voted on all necessary trophies, come to the banquet to find out who won.

   Roger Champiex has informed us of his intention to run for Public Relations, Sean Campbell has also expressed interest in B-League Rep. All we’re missing is an A-League rep. If you are interested please contact any of the board members.

   Cliff graciously offered to run the B-League singles championship, either Abel or Cliff will run the A-League if one of them does not make the cut, if not we will find someone else. The board also decided to provide pizza like we do at the All Stars.
