New Singles Statistic Added PDF Print E-mail
Written by Administrator
Thursday, 23 April 2009 01:51

Dear fellow SCCDA darters, we'd like to let you know that we're trying out a new statistic for both A and B leagues, which we've added to the singles standings.

The new statistic, Highlight Score, totals the number of highlight points an individual has scored in their season league games. The scores are added based on the following criteria:

  • for 100+ scored highlights, just add the individual scores
  • for bull highlights, add 25pts for each bull; 4B=100pts, 5B=125pts, 6B=150pts
  • for RO7 add 120pts, R08 add 140pts, RO9 add 160pts

If you have any question, please drop us a note or catch us at one of the games.

Regards, Websupervisor.

A League Season End PDF Print E-mail
Written by Administrator
Sunday, 31 May 2009 20:32

The 2009 A League Winter Season came to and end last week with the conclusion of the Commissioner's Cup, won by Rich Rohme of "Just The Tip".

A League Title

The league finale or showdown, which took place the week before, was a thrilling end to what was a highly competitive season. In the last match of the season, three teams had a chance to take the title; Texapotumus, who were currently leading the league needed only to beat The Sharks. The Sharks, needed to beat Texapotumus 6-5 to secure a playoff, or 7-4 to win our right. The Stingers were also in consideration for a playoff if they beat Double Penetration 10-1 or 11-0, depending on how The Sharks or Texapotumus faired.

The final winners were The Stingers, but this was not apparent until the final game of both matches had concluded so it literally was down to the wire.

Congratulations to The Stingers on a well fought league title.

Commissioner's Cup

The commissioner's cup was won by Rich Rohme, who also took the All Stars title this season. The final results were:

  1. Rich Rohme (Just The Tip)
  2. Rick Evans (Texapotumus)
  3. Fred Murphy (Texapotumus)
Well done Rich, who also got a 155 checkout - the league highest so far this season.
